I have an Athlon xp 2800+ processor, socket A
old motherboard was an MSI K7N2 Delta (it’s no longer available)
the only available boards now are AM2 or AM2+ (dual core and stuff)
is my processor going to work with these things?

I figured something like this was going to happen, I spent a fair few hours cleaning and servicing every part of my computer tower, the inside now looks as if it just came out of the anti-static wrapping.
